We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated ICT Teacher to join our passionate team, a specialist SEN school catering to pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and resilient teacher to deliver engaging and accessible ICT lessons, and to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils. The role is to start immediately and may lead to a longer-term or permanent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience teaching ICT or computing at secondary or post-16 level.
- Experience (or strong interest) in working with students with SEN.
- Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing, patient approach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable:
- SEN experience or additional qualifications (e.g. NASENCo, Team Teach).
- Experience with assistive technology or alternative communication tools.
- Understanding of safeguarding practices within SEN settings.
