ICT Teacher
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative ICT Teacher to join our clients school on a permanent basis from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver high-quality ICT and computing lessons that engage and inspire students in a rapidly evolving subject area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach a broad range of topics including digital literacy, computer science, and coding (e.g. Python, HTML, Java).
- Prepare students for qualifications such as GCSE and/or A-Level ICT/Computer Science.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and dynamic classroom environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and participate in departmental planning.
- Support the wider school community and engage in extracurricular computing activities or clubs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related subject.
- Experience teaching ICT in a UK school setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of computing curriculum and digital technologies.
