Job Description:
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Science Teacher to join our dynamic team from September 2025. This temporary role is ideal for a passionate educator committed to delivering engaging science lessons and maintaining a high standard of teaching in the absence of the regular class teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality science lessons across KS3/KS4/KS5
- Follow and adapt existing lesson plans and schemes of work.
- Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policy.
- Encourage curiosity, experimentation, and critical thinking in a safe learning environment.
- Support student learning and progress through clear explanations and practical investigations.
- Collaborate with departmental staff as required and contribute to the school’s academic goals.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- Experience teaching science in a UK school setting preferred.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
