Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Supply Art Teacher to join our vibrant team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire students and support the delivery of a high-quality art curriculum on a temporary or ad hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative art lessons across KS3/KS4/KS5
- Follow the school's existing schemes of work and contribute your own creative flair where appropriate.
- Encourage self-expression, creativity, and critical thinking through various artistic mediums.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and artistic growth.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school policy.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Liaise with other staff and departments as required to ensure consistency and continuity of education.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
- Specialism or strong background in Art and Design.
- Previous experience teaching art, ideally in a UK school setting.
- Flexibility, reliability, and excellent communication skills.
