We are seeking to appoint an inspiring, motivational, and highly dedicated Maths Teacher to work across Key Stage 3 and 4.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative team in an outstanding independent school that caters to students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dyspraxia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and 4, inspiring and engaging students.
- Work in a setting that focuses on changing the lives of pupils by addressing their specific learning needs.
- Collaborate with a supportive team, including Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists, to provide guidance both in and outside of the classroom.
- Foster a rich and stimulating learning environment to help children capitalise on their strengths and overcome weaknesses.
- Ensure the development of the whole child by providing excellent pastoral care and support.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths, ideally within a similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with students with Specific Learning Difficulties and supporting their academic and personal development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
