We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dynamic department at a school based in Westminster for Children with Specific Learning differences.
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
The successful candidate will have a passion for science education and will contribute to fostering a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to develop a lifelong interest in the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons to students at Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially 5, ensuring that they meet the needs of all learners.
- Teach across the science curriculum, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
- Monitor, assess, and track students' progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation, inquiry, and curiosity.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to engage and support students in their learning.
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including GCSE exams (and A-Level, if applicable).
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the science curriculum and the creation of new teaching resources
