MFL Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis (2 days a week). The successful candidate will inspire and challenge students to develop their language skills, cultural understanding, and confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and listening in a foreign language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons for students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (depending on your specialism).
- Teach Languages you teach, e.g., French & Spanish, ensuring lessons are engaging, well-structured, and suitable for the diverse needs of all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their potential.
- Promote a love for languages and cultures, encouraging students to embrace language learning and understand its practical benefits.
- Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and resources to ensure they remain current and effective.
- Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that promotes respect, confidence, and curiosity.
- Support students’ personal and academic growth both in and outside the classroom.
- Collaborate with other members of the MFL department and wider school community to enhance the educational experience.
