RE Teacher 

We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher . The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in exploring the significance of religious beliefs, values, and practices from diverse perspectives. As an RE Teacher, you will play a key role in nurturing students' moral and spiritual growth, while developing their understanding of the world’s major religions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and high-quality RE lessons for secondary school students in accordance with the curriculum.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages open discussion and exploration of religious, ethical, and philosophical topics.
  • Assess, monitor, and evaluate students' progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to the diverse learning styles of students.
  • Support the development of students' critical thinking, empathy, and understanding of various world religions and ethical issues.
  • Actively contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities, such as religious studies clubs or school assemblies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the RE department and across other subject areas.
